Skyfall Movie Review | Silentcritics.com

James Bond films have been in tow for the last 50 years and to commemorate the achievement, the latest edition of the franchise “Skyfall” gets released. Avan Ivan Movie Review | silentcritics.com

Director Bala’s latest release “Avan Ivan” turns out to be a complete disaster right from the beginning till the end. The movie is nowhere near to a trademark Bala film. Bala has ventured into a full comedy genre through this film but the so called comic scenes are very far and few and the little comic sequences fail to create an impact on the audience. Bala with his previous releases like “Pithamagan” and “Naan Kadavul” to name a few have created a huge hype and expectation on this film and this “Avan Ivan” doesn’t even meet 10% of the expectations which is really a sad scenario. Ko Movie Review | silentcritics.com

K V Anand’s latest directorial venture “Ko” is a truly refreshing entertainer from the regular run-of-the-mill masala movies. It is refreshing in more ways than one with a story that is simple but at the same time gripping. The supporting screenplay moves the film at a racy pace and most importantly the acting by the lead actors make this film a treat to watch. K V Anand who was once a photographer seems to have taken the inspiration for the main protagonist’s role from his own life experience as the role is flawlessly structured into the scheme of things. Yudham Sei Movie Review | silentcritics.com

Director Mysskin has once again proved that he belongs to a class of directors who carve a niche for themselves in the industry. With Yudham Sei, Mysskin has dealt beautifully with a theme that is not easy to experiment with. In fact the movie is a revelation with so much emphasis on scenes and situations rather than dialogues. The only sore point in the film being the item number between Ameer and Neetu Chandra which could have been avoided. Read More

“Kaavalan” was a movie that was a real test for Vijay outside the cinema arena. The movie was in turbulence with regard to its release and it was importantly a prestige issue for the actor to make sure that the film got released for Pongal. There were too many things said and read in between the lines and in the end the film finally managed to hit the screens on 15th Jan 2011 which has brought in cheers to his fans who were not sure whether the film would get released or not 24 hours back. Ilaignan Movie Review | silentcritics.com

“Ilaignan” springs in a surprise for the viewers as it ends up being a film that has all commercial ingredients in it. The hero is down to earth and suits the character portrayed while the heroine is a homely girl and for the front benchers there is Namitha who has put on more weight and sizzles in costumes that are meant for appropriate reasons.
